One Hundred Tributes for One

We recently lost our Grand mother…

She passed on in the morning, on Monday, 2nd September, 2018.

She was laid to rest on Saturday, 8th September, 2018.

She was a few years over hundred. Her exact age was a point of debate. Since it was unanimously agreed she was over a hundred years old, the logical thing was to state her age simply as hundred.

She matched amongst plus the hundred,

Amidst all and sundry, her kindred.

She lived her plus the hundred,

And stood out like one in a hundred.

Our Mama lived cherished,
And will never for us, be perished.
Ever she is so revered,

For so long very endeared.

Rest In Peace Ngo….
We fondly remember your cheer..

THIS FEAR OF JOY

0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000111
Bleeding trees don’t all die.
Into our lives a lot will pry.

The driest seed will germinate,
Its pains would compensate.

All leaves die, dry and fall,
Surely will those today so tall.

The little shoots rises we know,
So will all small people grow.

Every growing bud has its own day,
Eluding this fear of joy is our way.

We tend to go through life thinking we have the most problems.
It is after all a big part of living to have some trouble and difficulties, isn’t it?

But with the hardship, we mostly have the means to overcome them.

Isn’t it odd, it turns out that those with the most trials end up making the most of their situation and become remarkable successes?

For some reason their difficulties equip them and the rewards of their resilience sorts of compensates for all their many pains.

As surely as time passes by, all of existence will end and so will we all. Every bit of life will end.

The mighty shall become small and the little will grow big and burst, like an inflated balloon.

Every barely visible piece can have its moment in the sun and grow into a big entity, to be noticed by everything else some day.

But this will only happen if we let it. If we let ourselves have those moments of considerable joy…..

And the secret is?
Letting go of one’s fear of failing.

SUICIDE

BwkEnHkIEAAyieh
From where comes all this dew,
Delighting thoughts with to chew.

Soothing pressures that boo,
But sound frightfully so lewd.

I grabbed the wind horn I blew,
For I alone do hear it so true.

A loss I think I’ll cause you,
The pains might escape a few.

My swift scheme hardly new,
Like good cheats daring who.

Life is the full pot of new stew
Emotional foot found with its shoe.

BREASTS OF DOOM

tears (1)
O’ home,
I fear I am gone.
If I do return,
Rename me the sun.

O’ my nest,
Born to be the best,
Even when I die of thirst,
My last drop you will have first.

O’ this world,
Spare me a word.
Call me anything,
At least say something.

O’ uncertainty,
You cloud my sanity;
My consciousness you cover,
So do please roll over.

O’ hunger,
A cause for bother.
Those you’ve punished,
Deceived and banished.

O’ misery,
You’re a mystery
That hushes the brave
And starve the grave.

O’ life,
Where is your sight?
Drop the knife
And use some light.

O’ kindness,
Born of happiness;
May your reward be no other
Than your blessed mother.

O’ loneliness,
So many about,
Yet in your meanness
You cast me out.

O’ death,
Why express your might
On good fate
And make its wards the late?

O’ fate
Watch my tears.
Please make me the late
Or show me someone who really cares.

O’ people,
How can you be so simple
Yet so mean,
As if it is no sin?

O’ future,
Come in whatever nature,
Just promise me;
In my place my child you’ll see.

O’ child,
For whom I roam,
Is it youth that is blind
Or I chest breasts of doom?

MANDELA WAS ALLOWED TO DIE?

mandela 2

Nelson Mandela had an acute lung infection and was having serious breathing complications. He was ill and bedridden for months and kept hidden from the public eyes all through this time. This certainly meant he was in such a bad state and needed help to breathe well. He most likely was put on a ventilator or assisted by some artificial means.

This assistance had most probably kept him alive all those last few months he was alive. For how long was this the case, you wonder? If this assistance was finally taken away, wouldn’t we be correct to conclude that Mandela was finally allowed to die?

mandela 1

Whose decision was this & was it deliberately timed to suit someone’s own idea of the perfect time to let Madiba die?

What do you think?
